A small (just under 2 inch diameter) weight with complex pink and white canes on a translucent blue background. The center has a blue on white small butterfly silhouette. The base has a Whitefriars cane for 1985 so this was presumably made by Caithness although there are no Caithness markings. The canes are very good quality and much more like genuine Whitefrairs canes than most Caithness/Whitefriars paperweights. Usually with one top and six side facets although we have seen a picture of a non-facetted version. This weight comes up quite frequently in sales so there were presumably quite a lot made but we can find no mention of it in Caithness literature.
