This Val St Lambert paperweight has no less than four torsades knitted together in a complex skein. One lonely millefiore cane adornes the center, the whole on a rich blue ground. We acquired this weight cheaply because it had a number of bad impact craters, chips and a deformed surface which obscured the beauty of the paperweight. Heavy polishing has removed these problems, but left a weight which has somewhat lost the characeteristic VSL shape. I don't think we could have really left it as it was however.
