Val St Lambert paperweight

Val St Lambert paperweight with one top and four side facets. Roughly a three row concentric with a bright four coloured torsade. The whole on a translucent plum coloured ground. We think it mostly likely this has been cut down from a larger circular weight perhaps to remove damage, because the interior looks like something made around 1900 while the cutting looks more modern. If other square weights of this pattern exist however perhaps it was how they were originally made. The setup is still all well contained in the glass and it makes an interesting and attractive paperweight.
