Some of the most beautiful Whitefriars weights are those where complex millifiore canes are divided into panels with latticino canes. The are a potentially large numbers of variants and they don't seem to be that well documented with the exception of a few which are documented limited edition weights. 5 or 6 panelled weights are the commonest, but we also have a 3 panelled one in our collection. Do 4 panelled weights exist? We have never seen one in the flesh or illustrated. If any one has one we would be interested to hear of it as well as any with higher numbers of panels.
