This is a fairly common Whitefriars concentric paperweight dating from 1975, but it has a very rare royal blue flash overlay. Very few of these are known to exist and it was never produced on a commercial scale. The flash overlay is quite thick resulting in a significantly larger weight than normal at 3.5 inches diameter, 2.2 inches high. Standard five side facets and one top.
